As the summer transfer window is nearly closing, Manchester United is working hard to make the midfielder Carlos Casemiro sign. 

The player is currently tied with Real Madrid but has shown interest in joining the United. A talk between the two teams has been reportedly rolling. 

Casemiro is one Real Madrid’s highly paid player and, United believes that they are making the most competitive offer, including important performance incentives, which would definitely make the player their top player.

United is known to admit Casemiro’s professionalism and character as well as him being a defensive midfielder. Adding the Premier League in his already glittering career believes that it would give him proficient challenges.

Casemiro was a part of the Real Madrid squad that won four Champions League titles in five seasons from 2014-2018. 

In total, he has won fifteen major trophies at Real Madrid that includes five UEFA Champions Leagues, three La Liga titles, once Copa del Rey and three FIFA Club World Cups.

Making Casemiro sign would also mean unlocking Fred’s full potential. Casemiro runs in a holding role for Brazil, which would allow Fred to take one position that is more advanced and that could be replicated at Old Trafford.

United also explored a move for Frenkie de Jong which was later on accepted by Barcelona earlier this summer. 

Although no personal agreement yet, the door will remain open for United’s outlook, it is improbable that the Netherlands international would arrive in addition to Casemiro.

Casemiro has been among United’s key targets throughout the market and have leveled up their interest as the chances of signing De Jong have withdrawn.

The said courting team is still looking to sign a back-up goalkeeper and potentially a right back. 

Antony of Ajax has also appeared on their radar though now is still a long shot.

Christian Pulisic is another being pursued. 

It is not impossible that Cristiano Ronaldo would be allowed to leave before the deadline, but that is only when United receive an offer that suits both parties.

Adrien Robot’s also proposed a transfer to Manchester United which is highly unlikely to happen.
