While the majority of MPL teams in Season 10 stayed with a straightforward lineup release, TNC decided to step up their theatrical efforts.

Peaky Blinders served as inspiration for Season 10, and the Phoenix chose to continue with their core group of six for Season 9.

Ben Seloe “Benthings” Maglaque, Shemaiah Daniel “SDzyz” Chu, Mark Genzon “Kramm” Rusiana, Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos, Robee Bryan “Yasuwo” Pormocille, and multi-role 6th man Salman “KingSalman” Macarambon will all be back.

As for the coaching staff, the team will be led by the mysterious Coach 413. In the place of Coach Vrendon “V” Lin, he will be.

Can TNC achieve their breakthrough at last?

When TNC finished second in the regular season last year, they shocked everyone and pulled off a major upset.

After losing to Omega Esports in the lower bracket finals, they advanced to the playoffs and came in third. In its MPL history, this is the team’s highest accomplishment.

The club also suffered from Coach V’s absence throughout the season as he was compelled to combat Pott’s Disease.

The Phoenix may be able to maintain its camaraderie while implementing new strategies under the direction of 413 now that they have a new head coach and the same key players.
