July 14th, Thursday

Weigh-in for Barboza vs. Zorrilla is at 4:00 PM ET on ESPN+ and social media.

Prelims of Barboza vs. Zorrilla on ESPN+ at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Danielito Zorrilla vs. Arnold Barboza Jr. on ESPN and ESPN+ at 9:00 p.m. ET. Top Rank had originally listed this as an ESPN+ exclusive, however, the ESPN TV schedule now indicates that the main card will begin at 9 ET on ESPN, in addition to the fact that it will all be available on ESPN+. In any case, the main event is good. Nothing noteworthy, but we’re coming. There will be live coverage of Bad Left Hook.

July 16th, Saturday

Lennox Clarke vs. Mark Heffron on BT Sport (UK), 2:00 PM ET. There is currently a metric ass load of Queensberry prospects meant to be on the undercard, to the point that they simply won’t all be. It just will not turn out that Nick Ball AND Hamzah Sheeraz AND Dennis McCann AND Ryan Garner AND Pierce O’Leary AND Karol Itauma AND Sonny Liston Ali AND Umar Khan AND Khalid Ali AND Sean McLaughlin AND Sonny Liston Ali AND Sonny Liston Ali AND Umar Khan AND Khalid Ali. We are talking about odds of +3200 or something for every single person fighting on this program, which is about as good as some of my more foolish parlays. Whether or not I provide coverage for this will depend on how I feel, but I will mark it as a possibility. Just being honest, viewing this episode would be a waste of time for work purposes, but I might feel like it anyhow. I watch a lot of filler. The stats will not exactly soar in Barboza vs. Zorrilla either. There might be live coverage of Bad Left Hook.

Javier Fortuna vs. Ryan Garcia on DAZN at 8:00 p.m. ET. The good news is that Ryan Garcia’s return to the ring wasn’t delayed for too long, and he’s facing either his best or second-best opponent of his career, depending on how you rank Luke Campbell vs. Javier Fortuna in that debate. However, Fortuna is also a man coming off of a defeat to JoJo Diaz from a year ago (technically, he won a meaningless bout in February to make this inaccurate), undersized at 135 pounds, and obviously seen as a fairly safe opponent for Garcia. The decision to fight Fortuna now and save JoJo for later this year, should Golden Boy fail to fulfill their commitment to the Tank Davis bout, is apparent, even though it is not a poor fight. Along with those matches, the card will also have Ricardo Sandoval vs. David Jimenez, Lamont Roach Jr. vs. Angel Rodriguez, and Alexis Rocha vs. Samuel Kotey. For the time being, it is a very typical Golden Boy card. There will be live coverage of Bad Left Hook.
