In a social media story post, Calvin Abueva appears to be threatening to leave Magnolia.
Is Calvin Abueva actually issuing a challenge? The controversial Magnolia forward appeared to question a second technical foul called on him in the fourth quarter, which led to his ejection during the PBA Philippine Cup game between the Hotshots and the Barangay Ginebra Kings in an Instagram story.
Calvin Abueva’s post on Instagram Stories wrote:
“Bigyan ako nang malinis na video kung meron o wala kung meron man ales ako sa Magnolia kung mali ba ang taga na yun.”
[Give me a clean video if there is or not if I have ales in Magnolia if that person is wrong]
In the now-deleted post, Abueva requested a clear copy of the video of the incident, which showed him bumping Nards Pinto early in the fourth quarter, earning him his second technical foul and ejection.
Last year’s Philippine Cup Conference Best Player vowed to leave Magnolia if a clear review of the call proved he was wrong.
