MANILA, Philippines – Javi Gomez De Liano is driving TERRAFIRMA’s outstanding performance in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup. His effect was especially noticeable in the team’s back-to-back triumphs over Blackwater and NLEX, which marked the team’s first straight wins in recent years. The young winger was instrumental in the victory over the NLEX Road Warriors, putting in a superb performance and scoring a career-high 31 points in a dramatic 113-111 victory at the Antipolo Ynares Center.

Gomez De Liano demonstrated his scoring prowess by going 10-of-15 from the field, including four attempts from beyond the arc. His contribution was critical as the Dyip rallied from a 16-point deficit to defeat NLEX. Terrafirma increased their Commissioner’s Cup record to 2 to 1, and Gomez De Liano’s remarkable performance won him distinction as the PBA Press Corps Player of the Week for the week of November 15 to 12.

Javi Gomez De Liano has been a scoring phenomenon for TERRAFIRMA in the recent PBA Commissioner’s Cup stretch, averaging 24 points per game. The 6-foot-3 University of the Philippines player has been instrumental in Dyip’s successes, contributing considerably on both ends of the court.

Gomez De Liano showed off his scoring skills against Blackwater, helping the Dyip to a 97-87 triumph. He displayed his versatility by scoring 17 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, dishing out 1.5 assists, and stealing 1.5 steals. His precision from beyond the arc was particularly impressive, as he went 3-of-4 from three-point range.

The scoring prodigy maintained his excellent form against NLEX, making 7 of 12 three-point tries and shooting 58 percent from beyond the arc across two games. Gomez De Liano’s ability to contribute regularly in scoring, rebounding, and defensive efforts for TERRAFIRMA in the Commissioner’s Cup has surely elevated the team’s performance and made him a star in recent PBA action.
