LA Tenorio of Barangay Ginebra revealed his diagnosis of Stage 3 colon cancer and recent surgery, which kept him out of action for the previous few months, in a statement published on the league website.

A recent statement from basketball player Tenorio revealed that he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. The news came after he missed several practices and games due to initial testing three weeks prior. Tenorio underwent surgery last week and is now set to undergo treatment for the next several months. Despite this setback, he expressed his determination to overcome this challenge and return to the court stronger than ever.
