MANILA, Philippines – In addition to honing her playing abilities as Rachel Daquis nears the end of her remarkable volleyball career, she is also broadening her horizons. The former V-League Most Valuable Player is scheduled to visit the US for a coaching clinic next month, which is an important milestone for her career.

The team she has been an essential part of, Cignal, formally broke the news. This chance is viewed as a game-changer for Rachel as well as the Cignal HD Spikers because it will enable her to expand her volleyball knowledge and return with insightful information to share with her squad.

Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis plays volleyball for the Philippines. She earned her degree in business management from the Far Eastern University. The PLDT HOME TVolution women’s squad that competed in the 2014 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship has her as its captain.
