LONDON, England – Arsenal now leads the Premier League standings by eight points, although second-placed Manchester City does have a game in hand on their title rivals.
Mykhailo Mudryk was the top target for Arsenal during the January transfer period, however he was not acquired.
But up until now, it’s actually worked out to be a blessing. Leandro Trossard, a dynamic attacker who left Brighton for £21 million plus add-ons following a squabble with Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi, was the Gunners’ second choice.
Trossard reflected on his initial experience at the Emirates Stadium and shared that he was surprised at the amount of playing time he received, attributing it partially to injuries. Despite this, he conveyed confidence in his abilities.
He praised the team’s dynamic and expressed that being surrounded by talented players facilitated his adjustment and development within the team. Trossard acknowledged that the beginning of his journey with Arsenal was intense and atypical, but he expressed contentment and satisfaction with his decision to join the team, regarding it as a significant step forward in his career.
Regarding the season’s remaining games, Trossard stated that the team’s final standing in the league has not yet been determined. He said they would have to wait until the season was over to find out where they stood.
