The Omega Esports squad captain was clearly in tears after RSG PH defeated the Kings of the SEA in the MSC lower bracket finals with a last-second victory.
Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic was unable to leave his seat at the podium and was forced to just collapse sobbing on the team’s desk while burying his face in his arms.
Dylan “Light” Catipon, Dexter “Exort” Martinez, Coach Karl “Giee” Barrientos, and eventually the entire RSG PH team ran up to E2MAX to embrace him in a true display of sportsmanship.
What did his weeping opponent at that precise moment hear from Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto?
“Sabi ko, Titomax, bawi, kasi alam naman natin kung gaano nila ka-gusto mag-champion uli sa MSC, [I said, uncle max, let’s recover, because we all know how much they want to be the champion again in MSC]” At the conclusion of the tense contest, he told the host Mara Aquino.
“Marami pa namang chance. [there are lot of chances]”

Light also addressed Omega Esports in his remarks to the media.
“Sinabi namin na maganda yung laban, [we mentioned that it was a good game] good game. Sobrang solid nang ipinakita nila [what they show was really solid]. Nagso-sorry din kami na hindi kami umabot sa grand final [we are all sorry that we did not make it to the grand finals]. Then sinabi rin namin na babawian namin ang RRQ para sa kanila, [we also told them that we will recover the RRQ for them]” the Raiders roamer said.
“We’re kinda sad that we had to do it in the lower bracket finals. When I looked at E2MAX he really wanted to defend the title.”
Demonkite is preparing for the game tomorrow and the chance to get back at RRQ Hoshi in the meanwhile.
He is especially looking forward to rematching with Schevenko “Skylar” David Tendean. “Yung game style niya [his game style], parang winasak niya posisyon ng team namin. [it is like he destroyed the position of our team]”
