A fresh vantage point is what The Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted is all about.
Respawn Entertainment has unveiled the newest video for their animated short, “Stories from the Outlands,” which features Vantage, the newest legend to join the Apex Games’ roster as Season 13: Saviors of the Apex Legends comes to a conclusion. The animated short depicts the story of Vantage, sometimes known as Mara, who lives with her mother on the lifeless ice planet of Págos. She is the epitome of a survivor.
The clip shows Mara using her sniper rifle to prowl across the cold woods, where she soon kills a bat. She discovers the G.D.S. Vantage, an abandoned spacecraft, after doing more investigation. Soon after, Mara is reprimanded by her mother, who urges her to disregard the outside world and adhere to only one rule: survive. Naturally, Mara would eventually enter the empty cargo ship—which turned out to be a former prison ship—that was purportedly carrying her mother.

“The only rule Mara’s mother ever gave her was to survive. In the ruins of the G.D.S. Vantage, that’s a hard rule to follow.”
Before activating the security system, she also locates her pet companion Echo inside the prison ship. Mara is severely hurt after escaping when the ship capsizes. She is subsequently found by her mother, who chooses to send a distress signal to Gaea in an effort to save her daughter.
Vantage will be in the lineup sooner rather than later given the data leak that occurred a few months ago, even if Respawn hasn’t said anything about her appearance in Apex Legends. Leaked photos of nine new legends and their equipment were included in the Reddit thread, with Vantage being one of them. It’s also important to note that Vantage is the only other Legend with a full-scale model in addition to Newcastle. Of course, Respawn will certainly want to make some tweaks, so this is also open to change.
The leak claims that her inactive “Sniper Kit” would be able to give you thorough tactical intelligence on any opponents you may encounter. This covers the range, squad size, shield rarity, and name of the legend. You can accomplish this while unarmed or with a long-range scope while aiming down sights (ADS). Her sidekick joins in on the action during her tactical “Echo Launch.” You can move your flying partner about to provide further information and a different vantage point, or you can even jump to Echo at any time. This makes you basically a deployable bat. Vantage will employ a special rifle for her ultimate attack, “Mark to Kill,” which can scan and mark foes while increasing both her and her team’s damage. With each shot Vantage fires with her rifle, the damage she deals increases, and her team’s damage to marked targets increases by 15%.
It is unknown whether this is the final Vantage kit or if Respawn will make changes. But based on how the clip and the character model and kit were leaked, it appears that her name and kit make perfect sense.
The official trailer for Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted will be released on July 28. There is currently no additional information available. The optimum moment to assess Vantage’s performance on the field will also be at this point. The current battle pass for season 13 will finish on August 8 and the next season is anticipated to premiere on August 9. King’s Canyon will be reforged in Season 14, as was hinted at when Lifeline’s POI was first revealed in Olympus. The level maximum will finally be raised from 500 thanks to Respawn. Following the initial level cap increase from 100 to 500 in 2019, the player population has long requested this.
