The Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event is set to begin on June 21 and end on July 5.
The next Awakening Collection Event will be launched on June 21 in Apex Legends Season 13: Saviors by both Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn Entertainment, and will last for two weeks, finishing on July 5. The Awakening Collection Event introduces a new Olympus location, a new Heirloom, and the return of Control to Apex Legends. On your favorite Legends, there are plenty of exclusive cosmetics to be found.
One of the most recent additions is to Olympus, which now has a new POI in the northeast area of the map, between Gardens and Grow Towers. Lifeline’s clinic has been transformed into a Town Takeover site featuring high-tier treasure and unique features. The POI includes a medical bay that can heal you and your allies, as well as an Emergency Platform that can summon a single Care Package per match.
Along with the new POI, Valkyrie, the Winged Avenger, gets a new Mythic-tier cosmetic. Her Suzaku Heirloom is a spear, and it is the most recent to appear in the game, with Crypto receiving the last one before this. You can either create it with Heirloom shards received from Apex Packs or receive one as a reward after collecting all 24 items for the Collection Event.
With the Awakening Collection Event, the fan-favorite ‘Control’ Limited-Time Mode (LTM) returns to Apex Legends. This time, however, players will compete on current map rotations such as Olympus, World’s Edge, and Storm Point. There are a few adjustments to the Control LTM’s quality of life (QoL) that you can see below:
- The About screen now has new tabs, which are visible in Lobby and accessible in Control matches.
- A breakdown of Rating values can be found on one of the new tabs.
- The spawn system is explained in detail in the other.
- Introduce Ad Drones to Control for the sake of variety and storytelling, but you can also shoot them.
- Improved matchmaking by filling missing player spaces with new players at the start of Control to avoid lopsided matches.
Of course, an Apex Legends Collection event wouldn’t be complete without some new and exclusive cosmetics. Fuse, Ash, Lifeline, Horizon, and Loba, to name a few, will be getting some brand new skins to add to their arsenal. The Awakening Collection event also includes a new rewards tracker where you can acquire all 24 unique cosmetics to unlock Valkyrie’s Heirloom by completing daily and weekly prizes. If you don’t have the time to grind, you may just buy Apex Packs with Apex Coins.

The first three eliminations are currently valued roughly 100%. The next three are valued approximately 80%, and everything after that is worth approximately 20%.
