CS:Summer GO’s vacation game will be filled by the academy league.
WePlay has announced that the fifth season of their Academy League will start on July 25 and run until August 14—smack in the middle of the CS:GO summer break. In the group stage of the competition, 14 teams will compete in two groups of seven using a double-round robin format.
The games will start on July 25 with the Group Stage, with each game being a Bo1 encounter, and continue through August 7th (8th of August if there is a need for a tie-breaker). The teams that advance will then compete in the Gauntlet Stage from August 9–10 and, lastly, the Playoff Stage from August 12–14.
Similar to Season 4, all of the matches will take place online.
Teams will compete to win the first and second places, which will earn them a prize pool of $100,000 each.

The current competition favorite is Mouz NXT, whereas ENCE Academy is a newcomer to this academy league.
The competition will be streamed by WePlay Esports in Ukrainian and English on Twitch and YouTube (Twitch, YouTube). Parimatch is the official broadcast partner in Ukraine. Igor “SL4M” Sopov will serve as the host of the Russian-language program (Twitch).
