When Falcon Esports was placed in the Group Stages among two prominent MLBB teams, Todak and Onic Esports, no one expected them to go to the following round.

And behold, they defied all predictions, drawing with Todak and, more astonishingly, sweeping MLBB superpower Onic Indonesia, sending them to the airport.

In the MLBB scene, it was a major shocker, and the result gave Falcon Esports the confidence to fight anyone. During the post-match press conference, they stated that they have two teams in mind to face.

Midlaner Pyae Sone “JustiN” Khant stated, “RSG PH and RRQ because they’re the champions of MPL PH and MPL Indonesia”.

Falcon was given the opportunity to face RSG PH in the higher bracket, and their wish was granted. Despite their gallant efforts, which included Johnson and Beatrix leading them to a commanding come-from-behind victory in Game 2, the Raiders eventually trampled them in Game 3.

RSG’s Coach Karl “Giee” Barrientos received significant acclaim despite their lower bracket placement.

RSG PH thoughts on Falcon Esports

“Falcon Esports is a really good team. They are so unique and they are very disciplined,” he stated.

He also said: “If I think they are OP? Yeah, very true! I think they practice a lot!”

When asked who posed the greatest threat, he didn’t hesitate to name the man who nearly brought the Raiders down: “The gold laner, Silent.”

“Maybe Silent is one of the good Beatrix users,” Eman “EMANN” Sangco said of his gold lane competitor.

Despite their prowess, Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto highlighted certain weaknesses in their approach to the game.

The RSG PH jungler said, “I personally think their early game is weak for me because they cannot execute it well but in the late game they have so much discipline, so much mechanical skills that they can come back even with the big gap,”.

Meanwhile, RSG wasn’t the only one who praised Falcon Esports; Blacklist’s Coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza mentioned in a vlog that the squad was able to overcome their challenges.

“Bakit nga ba ang lakas nila ngayon? Kung naalala nyo nagkaroon ng problema sa country nila na kung saan nagkaroon ng martial law and natigil ang mga ML competition, so magtataka kayo bakit ang lakas ng Myanmar?”

He also stated: “Since Season 7, noong nagkaroon ng problema yung country nila, hindi sila tumitigil mag-practice. Panay namin silang naka-scrim hanggang dumating sa point na tinanong namin sila, ‘Bakit kayo nagpra-practice? Ano ba pinaghahandaan niyo?”.

The answer came from BON CHAN: “Dahil mahal nila ang laro at ayaw nilang mawala sa laro just in case na ma-lift yung restrictions sa country nila.”.

Falcon’s enthusiasm for MLBB was evident at the MSC, where they revealed that they have a few more tricks up their sleeves.

Falcon Esports mid laner JustiN said, “This is our first time playing in the MSC, this is our first experience and there are many things that we are still hiding and we also would like to request our supporters to keep watching us and we will get there, when we want to,”.
