Astralis might also win their first IEM championship.

The two teams that advanced from the quarterfinals are creating their own unique history in the IEM Cologne, which will take place in a few hours. The final competition before the summer break, the second stage of the IEM Cologne, is quickly approaching.

One of the two teams, Astralis, will face Natus Vincere in the semifinals, one of, if not the finest CS:GO squad in the world at the moment. The majority of their tournament trip has been anxiety-free, particularly throughout the group stages. They earned their spot on the group stage by defeating Complexity and BIG. The group stage was roughly the same; they swept their matches against FURIA and Cloud9, but when they fell to FaZe Clan, they were forced to settle for second place in Group B.

In the meantime, Movistar Riders created history by participating in an IEM playoff round for the first time. They defeated groups like Team Liquid, Team Vitality, and G2 Esports along the road. In the competition, the Spaniards are flexing their muscles.
