The preview for the future update to Riot Games’ well-liked tactical shooter game has just been made available. In the upcoming weeks, VALORANT will release Episode 5 Act 1, and with it, a new upgrade that gives gamers a new map and skins.

Battle pass

The new battle pass, which will be available with Episode 5 Act 1, will cost 1000 VP and include new Player Cards, Sprays, and three new skin packs: Spitfire for the premium skins, Task Force 809 for the free skins, and Shimmer Classic for the paid skins. The new skinlines in the combat pass, according to Laura Baltzer, Producer at VALORANT, are:

“…designed around the themes that were powerful and dynamic. Shimmer is a sparkling skinline with enough variants to fit perfectly into any collection. Spitfire is our artistic take on those players who just press W and want their weapons to reflect that as well”

Riot has this to say about the Prelude to Chaos Skin:

“Forged in fire and destruction, Prelude to Chaos knows only carnage. Its thunderous roar destroys all in its warpath, whether human, demon, or the unknown”

The skin pack will include Two-Handed Sword melee animations as well as transformations, animations, visual effects, custom audio, finishers, kill banners, and variants. Among the items in the pack are:

• Two-Handed Sword (melee)
• Vandal
• Operator
• Shorty
• Stinger

Players can purchase the pack for 8700VP.

New Map – Pearl

The new map, Pearl, is the last component of the upgrade. It will take place on Omega Earth and is the eighth map. It is a straightforward map, unlike others; there are no teleporters, ascenders, or doors. only three lanes, with lengthy wings and a narrow middle lane. The murals created by real Portuguese muralists and the inclusion of a fado, a classic piece of Portuguese music, are two features that distinguish this map from others. Additionally, the entire map is underwater, offering VALORANT players a fresh perspective while participating in a traditional 5v5 game.

Episode 5 Act 1 is set to release on 22 June 2022 worldwide.
