Caribbean Premier League is a top twenty20 cricket League that is played in the Caribbean region. It was founded in the year 2013 and the first edition of the game was played that same year. It was formed by Cricket West Indies and was set to replace the Caribbean twenty20 as the twenty20 premier league in West Indies.
