There will be a TNT comeback for JUSTIN Chua.

The three-team deal involving the 6-foot-6 Chua is expected to be approved by the PBA Commissioner’s Office, and he will then go back to his previous team.

In accordance with the conditions of the deal, Sean Anthony and Jake Pascual, two veterans, and Chua will be first traded to Phoenix alongside Paul Varilla.

Then, in exchange for Raul Soyud and Jjay Alejandro, the Fuel Masters will bring Chua and Varilla to the Tropang Giga.

Aside from. NLEX (2023) and TNT will also contribute two second round picks to Phoenix.

Chua was with the telecom team in 2017 for just one season before moving to Phoenix.

However, the previous Ateneo slotman was involved in a second deal in less than a year when the Road Warriors acquired him from the Fuel Masters in February 2022 in exchange for Kris Porter.

Sean Anthony’s return to the NLEX squad, where he played for them for two seasons from 2015 to 2017, before being dealt to NorthPort when Yeng Guiao became the Road Warriors’ head coach, was another benefit of the transaction.

Upon the agreement, Soyud’s long-standing relationship with the MVP team also came to an end. Before becoming acquired by TNT, the 32-year-old native of Negros Occidental had briefly played for NLEX.

In addition, all deals are the first significant actions taken by interim Phoenix coach Jamike Jarin and coaches Frankie Lim of NLEX and Jojo Lastimosa of TNT.
