Following its Game 2 loss to Barangay Ginebra in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals, TNT management said that they already knew who was responsible for the damage done in the team dugout at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Team manager Jojo Lastimosa stated that even if the criminal has been identified, the team would prefer not to reveal his identity.

However, Lastimosa stated that the offender would be held accountable for the entire cost of the dugout wall damage.

When asked if the concerned personnel’s salaries would be deducted, the TNT team manager said, “Yes (because) it’s a non-court incident,”

After a heartbreaking 71-70 loss to the Kings on Sunday night, the wall inside the Tropang Giga dugout was damaged, and the TNT organization is still awaiting word from the Commissioner’s Office on the precise sum the club will have to pay.

According to Commissioner Willie Marcial, the standard protocol in such cases is for the venue’s management to evaluate the damage and then calculate the total cost, which is subsequently sent to the PBA office.

The bill will then be sent to the participating team by the league for payment.

The controversial big man Poy Erram left the court late in the third quarter after another outburst, first for a non-call on Ginebra import Justin Brownlee after a missed layup, and then for an unnecessary foul by the TNT veteran on Brownlee at the other end of the court. Although the Tropang Giga would prefer to keep their identity private, rumors circulated about him.

Erram, 35, stormed back to the dugout and was subsequently seen on camera kicking some of the team’s belongings that were left outside the door.

Halfway in the last quarter, he was back on the court after spending a few minutes on the TNT bench. He shot 3-of-4 from the field to end with six points and five rebounds.
