MANILA, Philippines – IVY Lacsina is prepared for any position the coaching staff at F2 Logistics choose to put her in, whether it is as an outside spiker or a center blocker.
Ivy Lacsina demonstrates her versatility.
Meanwhile, on Saturday at the 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference semifinal match between F2 Logistics and Army-Black Mamba, the former National University standout relived her rookie season in the UAAP by filling in for Myla Pablo as an outside spiker.
The two-hour encounter was launched with back-to-back points from the wing by Lacsina, who also added a crosscourt kill to conclude the opening set and finish with nine points.
It is alright for me that I went through all of this since it has always been like this since I started competing in the UAAP, she said.
She claimed that while earning points wasn’t tough for her, passing the test was challenging.
After beginning her collegiate career as a middle blocker in the Lady Bulldogs’ historic victory in Season 84 of the UAAP, Lacsina played as a wing spiker in that season.
Former NU strategist and head coach of F2 Logistics Regine Diego was aware that Lacsina would work best in Pablo’s absence.
She claimed that while earning points was not difficult for her, passing the test was challenging “Because everything was the same when I first started at UAAP, it is alright for me that I had to go through it all.
She claimed, “I don’t have a hard time getting points, but it’s hard to pass it.

Regine Diego, the head coach of F2 Logistics and a former NU tactician, was aware that Lacsina would work best in Pablo’s absence.
Lacsina as an outside spiker will still be an option given that Myla Pablo’s recovery is still doubtful, according to Diego.
