MANILA,Philippines – F2 Logistics showed their might on Thursday at the Philsports Arena in the Governor’s Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference. They defeated the struggling Gerflor squad with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, and 25-14.
The Cargo Movers, who were dealing with internal problems, showed tenacity in this battle after defeating Farm Fresh in a closely contested five-set match. With this victory, they and Cignal, who each had a 4-2 record, were now tied for sixth place.
Throughout the entire match, F2 Logistics was clearly the dominant team, especially in the first two sets, and they performed even better in the third. With efficient teamwork, Jovelyn Fernandez, Mars Alba, and Jolina Dela Cruz built a decisive 14-point advantage at 21-7 and completely destroyed the Defenders.
With 11 points, including three blocks, and a stellar performance in both digs and receptions, Ara Galang stood out for the Cargo Movers. Ivy Lacsina scored ten points from successful attacks to demonstrate her attacking prowess, and Aby Marano scored an additional ten points via a combination of rejections, blocks, and attacks.
