MANILA, Philippines –  Premier Volleyball League All Filipino Conference elimination matches at the Philsports Arena, Creamline faces off against F2 Logistics in an attempt to not only win its fourth consecutive match, but also maintain its perfect record. Cignal and Petro Gazz are also in action in a matchup of resurgent clubs.

The Cool Smashers will play the Angels, HD Spikers, and Choco Mucho Flying Titans at 6:30 p.m. without having dropped a set during their impressive start. facing a team reeling after losing a set in a row, with all their momentum and confidence.

Yet far more than lulling the defending champions into complacency, this should serve to motivate them to improve as they get ready to face the similarly undefeated Chery Tiggo Crossovers the following weekend.

This Tuesday, they defeated the towering Flying Titans by scores of 25 to 18, 25 to 13, and 25 to 14, showing that they were every bit as tough as they had been against the Angels and the HD Spikers. Jema Galanza, Michele Gumabao, and Ced Domingo each contributed 15 points to the rout.

After settling for a six-point performance the last time out following 11 and 13 points in the first two games, Tots Carlos is poised to erupt and the troika is expected to once again unleash their offensive might.

But, the Cargo Movers are also looking to avenge a pretty dismal performance against the Crossovers last Thursday in which no player managed to score in double figures. Myla Pablo, who made her team debut against PLDT with 21 points, then slowed down, scoring nine points in the following two games.

Pablo’s underwhelming performance didn’t stop them from defeating the Chargers in three, but the Cargo Movers struggled against the energized Crossovers, and only Aby Marano and Majoy Baron managed to contribute six points.

They should be inspired and fired up by this, though, as they take on the crowd favorites who have barely missed the leadership and top-hitting of skipper Alyssa Valdez, who is still recovering from a knee injury.

The 4 p.m. The Petro Gazz vs. Cignal match has a lot of potential as well, with the rested Angels hoping to follow up on their 3 to 0 thrashing of the Flying Titans on February 9 and the HD Spikers returning to form with a sweep of the Chargers after dropping their opening two matches to the Crossovers as well as the Cool Smashers.
