In a thrilling matchup, the Bacoor City Strikers showcased their resilience as they mounted an impressive comeback to secure a hard-fought victory over the Iloilo United Royals. With just 2 minutes and 22 seconds remaining on the clock, the Strikers demonstrated their composure by sinking six crucial free throws, effectively shutting down the Royals’ offense and limiting them to only one field goal. The final score stood at an exhilarating 74 to 69 in favor of the determined Bacoor City squad.
Notable performances from the Iloilo United Royals included Justine Sanchez, who contributed 13 points, while Marlon Basco added 12 points to the team’s efforts.
