Fans of Dota 2 shall rejoice!
Additional information about The International 11 has been revealed today after Singapore was named as the event’s location or venue by Valve. The part of the announcement tackling the overall number of teams traveling to Singapore may be considered its most noteworthy feature.
The International will feature 30 teams for the first time, including 20 teams competing in the group stage and 10 teams from the last-chance qualifiers. The top 20 scorers on the Dota Pro Circuit will comprise the 20 teams with automatic places in the group stage.
According to a post by Wykrhm Reddy, the International will take place from October 8 to October 30, with the following schedule:
- October 8 to 12: Last Chance Qualifiers
- October 15 to 18: Group Stage
- October 20 to 23: Playoffs
- October 29 to 30: Finals
Wykrhm Reddy (@wykrhm) released a photo on June 02, 2022 that indicates the schedule on Twitter with the caption:
