Delhi Capitals are all set to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their next encounter at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on the 16th of April. The Rishabh Pant-led side is coming off an excellent performance against the Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous game and their openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner were back at their best at the top. Mitchell Marsh is likely to slot in for Rowman Powell once he becomes available while Anrich Nortje might be rested for a few more games until he recovers completely.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore had a tough game against the Chennai Super Kings and they felt the absence of Harshal Patel quite heavily. He would come into the playing XI once he is available. Meanwhile Akash Deep conceded plenty in his final few overs against CSK which might be a worry for Faf du Plessis. RCB has the option of bringing in Siddarth Kaul whose experience might be handy in death overs until Harshal returns.

Venue: Wankhede Stadium
Date & Time: 16th April, 7:30 PM
PITCH REPORT
The Wankhede Stadium has assisted the bowlers well in the games so far and relatively has been a low-scoring pitch compared to the others. Rajasthan Royals managed to defend a score of 165 against Lucknow Super Giants in the previous game at the same ground and hence, toss might not be a big factor. However, the captain that wins the toss is expected to bowl first considering the dew factor that might come in later in the evening.

PROBABLE TOP PERFORMERS
PROBABLE BEST BATTER OF THE MATCH: FAF DU PLESSIS
Faf du Plessis has been out of runs in the last few outings and he will be looking to lead from the front with a good knock. The right-hander has scored just 146 runs in five games despite a scintillating start to the tournament and will be hoping to turn the tide in the upcoming fixture. Du Plessis’ form would allow Virat Kohli to take his time as well and will ensure that RCB has a good start to their innings.
PROBABLE BEST BOWLER OF THE MATCH: JOSH HAZLEWOOD
Josh Hazlewood came into the playing XI in the previous game and did pick up a wicket with the new ball for the RCB franchise. His figures were spoilt in the final overs by Shivam Dube and subsequently finished with 1/33 in his four overs. He provides a lot of stability to the RCB bowling line-up and a lot will be expected from him in the upcoming fixture against Delhi.
Today’s match prediction: Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the match.
