West Indies enter the 3rd ODI against the Netherlands on Friday having already claimed an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The visitors have successfully chased down targets in both games so far. In the 2nd ODI, the hosts managed only 214 runs before getting bowled out. Vikramjit Singh (58-ball 46) and Scott Edwards (89-ball 68) were the top scorers for the Dutch side. Meanwhile, spinner Akeal Hosein led the West Indies attack, claiming figures of 4/39 in his quota of 10 overs. Chasing a tricky target, Nicholas Pooran and Co. lost their openers cheaply and were reeling at 99/5 before the rescue act from Brandon King and Keacy Carty began. King scored an unbeaten 91 and Carty remained unbeaten on 43 to take the team over the line. Bas de Leede was the top wicket-taker for the hosts, claiming figures of 2/46. With the done and dusted, the hosts will look to salvage all they can from this series and prevent a whitewash. West Indies, on the other hand, will look to give the younger players a chance. NETHERLANDS PREVIEW Pieter Seelaar would be angry at his players after the big loss in the last game. They made a mess in the last game from a position of strength. They had put up a good show batting with a 101-run opening wicket stand. But poor shot selection led to the side losing 10 wickets for mere 113 runs. Having already lost the series Seelaar would be aiming for a face-saving win in this game.   Vikramajit Singh and Max O’Dowd have done well in both games and the pair will have to fire all cylinders here. Scott Edwards played a good knock, but the rest of the batting didn’t manage double-digit scores and runs would be needed in the middle order from Musa Ahmed and Bas de Leede. Seelaar and Teja Nidamanuru must contribute down the order for the side to win.   The bowling attack hasn’t had much to defend, and the side would expect early strikes from Ryan Klien and Logan van Beek in this game. Bas de Leede and Aryan Dutt will have to keep the scoring under check. Seelaar is an experienced bowler, and he needs to put up an inspiring performance with the ball in this game.  WEST INDIES PREVIEW Nicholas Pooran would be happy with the unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. It was a good performance from their bowlers in the last game. However, the West Indies skipper would want to see a better show from his batsmen as they haven’t been at their best. The side would soon be hosting Bangladesh and their batsmen need to get into form  Shai Hope has played well, and he must set up a good opening wicket stand in the game with Shamarh Brooks. Nkrumah Bonner isn’t in the best of form, and he will look to add runs in the middle order with Pooran. Brandon King has played good knocks in both games and strengthens the batting with Kyle Mayers and Keacy Carty.   Alzarri Joseph has bowled well, and the side would like him to offer a good start with Mayers. Akeal Hosein troubled the Dutch batsmen with his variations in the last game and he will look to do the same with Hayden Walsh during the middle overs of the game. Anderson Phillip and Bonner shall look to do well in the supporting role.   NETHERLANDS VS WEST INDIES MATCH DETAILS: Match: Netherlands vs West Indies, 3rd ODI Date & Time: 4th June 2022 at 2:30 PM IST Venue: VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen NETHERLANDS VS WEST INDIES PITCH REPORT The two ODIs in this series have been overwhelmingly dominated by the chasing side.
