Rain or Shine secures the final spot in the 14-Under division’s quarterfinals in the Batang PBA

MANILA, Philippines – In order to claim the final quarter final spot in the Batang PBA 14-Under Division on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, RAIN or Shine defeated PBA All-Star Dark, 70 to 50.

The Batang Elasto Painters (3 to 1) prevailed in the critical match to place second in Group B behind unbeaten San Miguel (4 to 0) thanks to the combined efforts of Jhyssen Aedric Isada and John Viencel Rato, who scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Arthgian Karunungan and Kiefer Lambert Panganiban each scored 10 points for All-Star Dark, but the team nevertheless finished the elimination round with a 2 to 2 record.

With a 102 to 37 victory over sluggish All-Star Light (0 to 4), playoff-bound Blackwater Red President completed a 4-game sweep in Group D.

Who is Nickson Andwele Caba?The 65-point victory was fueled by the combined scoring of Ero, Mhale Jhello Lumague, and Lawrence Matthew Knowles, who each tallied 14 points.

While this was going on, Sista, who advanced to the quarterfinals and is undefeated, won Group C after crushing Purefoods (1 to 3) 100 to 32. In Group B, also-ran Magnolia (2 to 2) defeated NLEX (0 to 4) 57 to 31.

For the Batang Super Sealers, Yhanz Kraiffer Selom scored 14 points, and Peter Sebastian Ibe contributed 12.

Magnolia was led by Marcus Aguilar, who scored 10 points.
