Christian Standhardinger chipped in with seven assists, fourteen rebounds, and eleven points. In addition, Jamie Malonzo had 11 and 9 boards.
Next up for Ginebra (3-1) is a heavyweight match on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. against San Miguel (3-0) remaining in the Big Dome.
Ian Sangalang led Magnolia with 17 points, but Magnolia suffered its first defeat after defeating Converge 106-75 to start the conference season.
Ten rebounds and fifteen points came from Jio Jalalon. The Hotshots, who were blitzed 19–5 by the Kings, abridging the third and fourth chapters, were led by Paul Lee with 12 points, Mark Barroca with 11 and Abu Tratter with 10 points.
Magnolia’s next game against NLEX is scheduled for Saturday, April 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the league’s long-awaited return to Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
