Jamie Malonzo, a young player with explosive potential, joins Coach Tim Cone and the Kings

When Barangay Ginebra plays Rain or Shine at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, it will finally make its 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup debut.

In addition, Magnolia Chicken Timplados will make its conference debut on Wednesday at 3 p.m. versus Terrafirma.

Nick Rakocevic, a graduate of the University of Southern California, will represent Serbia in the Hotshots’ opening conference match.

Rakocevic might not be as well-known as the other imports, but head coach Chito Victolero praised him for being a player who perfectly complemented the Hotshots’ defensive-focused approach.

After Dyip import Lester Prosper went off for 43 points and 25 rebounds in Magnolia’s game against Terrafirma, defense will unquestionably be of the utmost importance.

Despite their efforts, Prosper lost to Converge 124–110, becoming Dyip’s 17th straight loss.
