MANILA, Philippines – Finally earning his first victory as Bossing’s coach. The Bossing defeated TNT Tropang Giga, 101-78, on the final day of the PBA On Tour at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, giving JEFF Cariaso his first victory as Blackwater coach.
For the Bossing, five players scored in double digits, with JVee Casio leading the way with 18 points in a well-balanced scoring onslaught.
The Bossing, who concluded their preseason campaign with a 7-4 record, got their first victory under Cariaso since he took over last week.
It doesn’t matter what situation we’re in, sino ang kalaban, anong games, whether it’s the PBA On Tour or a regular conference, the task for the boys is to go on a break on a winning note, said Cariaso after the game.

Blackwater came in third, narrowly defeating Meralco, which also had a 7-4 record but had fallen to the Bossing on July 14 (89-82).
Casio made 4-of-8 three-pointers, while Mike Digregorio scored 15 points on 3-of-6 attempts.
Ato Ular, Rashwan McCarthy, and Troy Rosario each had 11 points, while Mike Ayonayon and Rey Suerto each had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
TNT finished bottom in the rankings with a 1-10 record after losing its last three games.
Glenn Khobuntin led the Tropang Giga with 14 points.
