Williams finished with 28 points, while Oliver finished with 36 points and 10 rebounds as TNT won their third game in a row.

Blackwater fell to a 3-4 record.

TNT recovered from its defeat to NLEX in the previous game by scoring 33 of its 55 points in the second half together.

After falling behind by as much as nine points early on in the game, TNT came back to take the lead for good with a 15-1 run for a 76-65 advantage.

After trailing by just two at the break, the Tropang GIGA were able to gain the upper hand.

“As poorly as we shot against NLEX, our problem really was our defense. Like today, if we kept NLEX to 98 points, we would have a chance to win our last game. We really intentionally put a lot of emphasis and focus on defense,” said TNT coach Chot Reyes.

For the first time after trading Troy Rosario to the Bossing in the offseason, TNT played against Blackwater and scored 11 points apiece from Calvin Oftana and Roger Pogoy.

Rosario, on the other hand, didn’t represent the Bossing and was dressed casually.

Even though the Bossing have yet to put together a winning streak in this conference, Cameron Krutwig had 25 points and 12 rebounds in a losing effort.

Blackwater got off to a strong start, leading 25-16, but lost the advantage in the third quarter, which also featured a few dunks by Oliver.

Gab Banal got 12 points and seven rebounds for the Bossing in a matchup with his previous squad.
