The decisive straight-set victory over the unbeaten Cignal HD Spikers on December 14 was a high point of their campaign. With this victory, Cignal’s winning streak came to an end, and Petro Gazz soared to the top of the standings and finished the season with the best record in the league. Important contributors to this victory included Myla Pablo, who added 15 markers, and Brooke Van Sickle, who scored 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
