Entering the contest following a costly collapse in their previous outing, Converge displayed early determination, establishing control on the defensive end and taking advantage of TNT’s initial offensive sluggishness. The FiberXers effectively disrupted TNT’s perimeter execution, limiting open looks and dictating the pace of play across the opening two quarters. Complementing Arana’s stellar interior play was an all-around contribution from guard Juan Gomez de Liaño, who filled the stat sheet with 16 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
